Tutti in piazza! Everything in the piazza.

Or in this case, Wollongong City Mall.

The mall was transformed into an Italian piazza on Saturday to mark Italian Republic Day, the country's national holiday.

Members of the community put on a display of all things quintessentially Italian.

For those interested in food, stalls offered delicious pasta, pizza, gingerbread and mouth-watering sweets.

Alfa Romeos and Lamborghinis attracted plenty of attention from lovers of fast cars while musicians and dancers entertained the crowd who enjoyed a very Australian warm winter's day. Si, la vita e bella!
